What this actually checks
Your website, live
We request the site the moment you press the button. Does it load at all? Does it load over HTTPS? Roughly a quarter of the small business websites we test are dead, redirecting to a parked page, or failing on security, and the owner usually does not know.
Domain age
Pulled from the domain registry. Age is one of the strongest trust signals there is, both to customers and to search engines. A fifteen year old domain carries weight a six month old one does not.
Contact consistency
Whether a valid phone number, a full street address with ZIP, and an email exist and agree with each other. Inconsistent contact details are the most common reason a business gets skipped over in local results.
How you appear when shared
Whether your site sets a preview image. Without one, every link to your business shared on social media or in a message appears as a blank grey box.

Is this really free?
Yes, and there is no signup, no email required and no card. The check runs against public information and your own public website.
Does a low score mean my business is bad?
No. It measures how much about you can be independently verified from the outside, not how good you are. An excellent business with a broken website scores badly here, which is exactly the problem worth knowing about.
Can I pay to raise my score?
No, and there is no version of this where you can. The score moves when the underlying facts move: fix the website, make the phone number consistent, get the address complete.
