How to get the embed code
- Find and claim your listing. It's free.
- Complete verification by business email, phone call or documents. We review each claim, usually within one business day.
- Your badge code appears in your owner dashboard. Copy it and paste it into your website's HTML, anywhere you want the badge to show.
The code is a small snippet of HTML with a link to your listing. It looks like this:

</a>Example only. Badge code is issued to verified owners from the dashboard, and each code is tied to one listing. The Chronicle badge is issued when your story is published.
Badge rules
- Use the badge only on the website of the business it was issued to.
- Don't change the badge's wording or make it look like an endorsement of your products or services. A badge means your ownership was verified, not that we rate your quality.
- If a claim is withdrawn or the listing is removed, the badge must come down.
